The dryer has a 76cm wide belt and three 61cm wide, 3,600W heaters (total 10,800W), and is said to cure 475 garments printed with plastisol ink, or 150 garments printed with water-based ink or discharge per hour. “With the Vastex Infrared Focusing System, the heaters can be adjusted to any height five to 17 cm above the belt, allowing the operator to compensate for varying garment thicknesses,” explains the company. “The dryer is over 20% quieter and 13cm narrower than its predecessor, owing to its powerful top-mounted exhaust system, and allows positioning of the control box on the right (standard) or left side of the enclosure to suit shop layouts.” The EconoRed III-30-2 is also available, which is equipped with an additional heating chamber (total 21,600W) to double the belt speed, curing up to 950 garments printed with plastisol ink per hour or 300 printed with water-based ink or discharge, explains Vastex. It adds that users can choose between clam presses, swing presses, fusing presses, sliding table presses, membrane presses, large format presses and automatic presses with one or two stations.
