PRE-PRESS & POST-PRESS EQUIPMENT www.images-magazine.com 50 images DECEMBER 2017 Goccopro UK: Goccopro Digital “G occopro is the art of digital screen making,” says Goccopro UK. “You can screen print anything quickly and easily without any of the hassle and old-fashioned procedures that were required in the old days.” Over the past five years, the company’s range of digital screen makers has increased from one to four, stretching from a system that is suitable for the hobby market/entry level to one that is suited to a business that deals with high volumes. “We are beside ourselves with excitement about the new entry level Goccopro Digital,” reports Goccopro UK. “It is no bigger than a desktop inkjet printer but will burn a digital screen in 30 seconds. It will have you screen printing in less than two minutes. How exciting is that? Perfect for screen printing logos, badges and artwork on any type of garment.” Another UK launch is the Goccopro QS2536, which the company says takes the range “to new heights of quality and speed of production”. It is said to be capable of providing up to 1200 dpi resolution in a screen that can be made in less than three minutes. It has been designed to work alongside automatic as well as manual print presses, and the company describes it is a “game-changer”. “Riso through their Goccopro brand, is continuing around the world to push, drag and slap the screen printing industry into this modern digital age. Gone are the days you need nasty chemical emulsions, cleaners, washout booths and a massive space to store all those frames,” concludes Goccopro UK. www.goccopro.co.uk i-Sub: Roq Fold, Stack and Pack “T he money is in the packing! Why spend money on having a large packing workforce when you only need one person?” says i-Sub. “The Roq folding and packing system requires a single operator to pack up to 700 garments per hour.” By combining Roq’s Fold, Stack and Pack machines, multiple garments can be packed into one bag, which i-Sub points out is ideal for the promotional market. Being able to fold a number of different garments such as T-shirts (long and short sleeve), polos, hoodies, 100% polyester football tops, jumpers and trousers gives the Roq Fold machine its edge, reports the company, and there is little set-up time needed between jobs. The Roq Stack allows for multiple garments to be folded and stacked to the customer’s requirements, ready for boxing up, while the auto count feature allows the operator to know how many garments have been stacked. “The ROQ system is fast, easy to use, efficient and requires very low maintenance,” concludes i-Sub. www.i-sub.co.uk M&R: AB-9000 Automatic Bagging-Sealing Machine “A B-9000 streamlines the bagging process, eliminating costly, inefficient manual bagging and sealing,” reports M&R. “It can seal up to 20 roll-fed bags per minute, and is capable of processing bag sizes ranging from 10cm x 13cm to 30cm x 38cm.” The AB-9000’s touchscreen control centre tracks productivity, including bags-per-minute/hour and production rates for each job, while the Job Recall feature stores job data that can be recalled for similar and repeat runs. The machine offers automatic bag threading for easy set-up and changeover, and uses a multi-belt/ pinch roller bag-web drive system for precise product loading and accurate sealing. Also from M&R is the K-950 Automatic Shirt Folder. It features a bottom pulling dual-belt (upper and lower) transport system, which M&R says makes it easy to fold garments printed with high density or gel inks. The folding plates electronically adjust to the desired width while remaining parallel to each other for a tighter, more consistent folding. The K-950 is said to be capable of cycle speeds in excess of 1,500 garments per hour. www.mrprint.com The Roq Fold, Stack and Pack is available from i-Sub The AB-9000 Automatic Bagging- Sealing Machine from M&R The Goccopro QS2536 with Newman roller frame
