Well, these are two areas of garment decoration that Dae Ha is addressing with the launch of its new fast-weed PU MAX film.” The new film is a little bit different: Dae Ha’s R&D team has designed a two-in-one film that is fast to weed for both small and large transfers alike, yet still allows intricate designs to be cut and weeded as well. “With the introduction of the fast-weed PU MAX film comes six new pastel colours and a vibrant hot red, along with a new Digital Print PU, Stretch Glitter, Design Film and a host of new Stretch Metallic colours” says Dae Ha UK. This lightweight, printable media offers an adhesive backing, is warm peel, and has a rapid pressing time from just three seconds. “Applying vibrant full-colour transfers onto light and dark textiles has never been quicker,” says Xpres. It adds: “With a pressing temperature as low as 130°C, this printable transfer film has been specifically developed for speedy production onto virtually all types of textiles.” Also from Xpres is Super Flex Evolution, which the company says “will slash your production time without compromising on quality”. Requiring just five seconds to press at temperatures as low as 140°C, this lightweight transfer film has been specifically developed for rapid application. It has a soft-touch matt finish and features a new hot-melt adhesive for an improved bond onto cotton, polyester, polycotton and uncoated nylon. www.xpres.co.uk Virus: Wow Process Virus has developed the Wow Process range of inks for four-colour process printing. The range is made of four ready-to-use colours formulated with a concentration of pigments specific for white fabrics. It allows ‘wet on wet’ printing and offers bright colours, great opacity and excellent elasticity with a soft hand and high washing resistance, according to the company. “The formulation of the four printing colours and the pureness of the pigments guarantee a perfect balance of the chromatic scale ensuring final results faithful to the original subjects,” Virus adds. “Wow Process range is printable at 120/tpc (305/tpi) thus guaranteeing the optimum soft touch, quality of details and harmonious colours.
