No contest – brown sauce all the way! What was the last book you read? Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind by Yuval Harari How and when did you start your career in the industry? My family have been in the textile industry for decades, so it was only natural that I continued in the same direction. My father has been a production and country manager in many countries – when I left high school I moved to Bangladesh, where I spent seven years working in sweater factories managing quality and production, and learning all about the industry. What’s your most over-used word or phrase? At the end of the day. Which three words would your friends use to describe your personality? Adventurous, obsessive and annoying. What is your favourite radio station? I am more into my podcasts than radio – the Joe Rogan Experience has changed my life! It’s very informative with such a variety of guests, from high performance athletics to astrophysicists. Highly recommended! Chris would be lost without his ViewRanger app What’s your party trick? I probably can’t say it here. What’s your greatest ambition? To have a huge family with lots of children, and then lots of grandchildren. What’s your guilty pleasure? At the moment it’s the Netflix show, Love Is Blind – I was forced to watch it, but secretly I enjoy it! Is there another job that you’ve always wanted to do? Marine biologist, or some other animal- related job. If you could be anywhere on earth right now, where would you be? Scuba diving and exploring pristine coral reefs off some obscure Indonesian island. Which gadget or app couldn’t you live without? The app, ViewRanger, for all my hiking and bike trails and routes. If you could ask one person one question, what would you ask? David Attenborough – what’s your favourite animal, and why?
