Xpres also offers the latest model from Epson that is said to provide its “fastest, highest quality, direct-to-garment printing yet”. The SC-F2100 promises a complete DTG solution, including both software and inks, so that users can begin printing straightaway. Xpres also supplies a range of inks as well as pre- treatment, plus finishing solutions, such as heat presses from Adkins and Sefa, which include a tunnel dryer that can process up to 50 T-shirts per hour. Based on Kornit’s NeoPoly Technology, paired with NeoPigment Olympia ink, the Poly Pro prints on both white and dyed polyester fabrics, and is said to offer “superior white base opacity” for vivid, lasting graphics. It can be used on woven, knits and poly-blend fabrics, such as poly-Lycra and polycotton, as well as on different fabric textures. Adelco says the printer is “profitable from the very first print, even on short runs”, and says it produces “high quality, durable prints with no dye migration, and preserves original fabric properties”.
