The sustainable fashion manufacturer will also use recycled polyester in all its garments, alongside its regenerated and organic cotton sources, to create a range of 100% sustainable T-shirts, sweatshirts, hoodies and knitted sweaters. The brand said: “The urgency of the plastics crisis and the impact on our global environment is now more critical than ever before. Our vision is to build a better future for our planet. “Reduced packaging does not mean reduced product shelf-life or usability; all Écologie garments will be folded in packs with extra care to ensure the highest quality is maintained throughout the delivery process.” This year, the brand also introduced its first style made entirely from regenerated material: the Taroko Re-Gen Sweater, which is made from 19 recycled plastic bottles and 0.56kg of cotton waste. www.ecologiebyawdis.com Granthams to supply the new Roland DG TrueVis VG2 Granthams has announced a “refreshed relationship” with Roland DG as it begins supplying the manufacturer’s TrueVis large format printer/cutter solutions. As well as the new Roland TrueVis VG2 solutions, the company is also now supplying the Roland Soljet Pro 4 XR-640 inkjet printer/cutter and the TrueVis SG inkjet printer/cutter duo. Kirsty Reader, general manager at Granthams, said: “Prints from the new Roland VG2 printer/cutter are ready for lamination in as little as six hours and the machines require less frequent maintenance and cleaning. Plus, the 500ml ink sacks don’t have an expiry date, making them even more cost- efficient.” Kirsty continued, “Customers are welcome to book a demonstration of the Roland TrueVis VG2 at our Preston office.” www.granthams.co.uk New loose-fit stretch trousers from Snickers AllroundWork stretch trousers are now available in the UK from Snickers Workwear.
