Offered in two sizes, 120V or 240V, it is designed to illuminate the translucent acrylic back panel of screen washout booths to improve visual inspection of the screen surface being reclaimed. Model VWB- LK2 measures 610 x 51mm for booth chambers less than 1,219mm wide, and model VWB-LK4 measures 1,219 x 102mm for booth chambers more than 1,219mm wide. The new units attach to the upper frame of a washout booth with the mounting brackets supplied; they are optional on new equipment and can be retrofitted to all existing Vastex washout booths and other specific makes. Other speakers include industry consultant Geraldine Cosh,who will expand on risk assessment for childrenswear, while keynote speaker Sheikh Minhazuddin, TÜV SÜD’s deputy general manager and head of R&D, will look at product safety regulation and standards, along with trends for product failures and recalls, and regulatory updates. Geoffrey Willis, international senior apparel industry specialist from Trigon, will focus on the key aim of fashion brands: producing the right product at the right time and the right cost. The platform aims to help businesses maximise the productivity of their digital printing solutions by enabling them to “monitor production, analyse insights and manage their fleet, in order to eliminate blind spots”, said a company spokesperson.
