Designed to match the output of DTG printing systems, the LittleRed X1D-30 features a 61cm wide heater that is said to cure up to 29 garments per hour when DTG printed with digital white ink. The cure rate for water-based or discharge prints is said to be to 65 an hour while for plastisol prints it’s 150 an hour. Mark Vasilantone, president of Vastex, said: “By curing DTG-printed garments in an infrared conveyor dryer, the garments avoid the flattened, ironed-on appearance and halo associated with heat-pressing of printed images.” Features include an adjustable belt-to-heater clearance, a dual digital PID temperature controller and an X-Series conveyor belt roller tracking system with Teflon-coated fibreglass belt. The X1D-30 can also accommodate additional heating chambers and belt extensions as needed. www.vastex.com PCIAW reveals 2020 Global Summit and Awards sponsor The Professional Clothing Industry Association Worldwide (PCIAW) has announced that the 2020 PCIAW Summit and Awards will be held in partnership with performance and protective textiles manufacturer Milliken & Company.
