INDUSTRY NEWS www.images-magazine.com 20 images NOVEMBER 2019 DecoNetwork releases software update with two new features DecoNetwork has released its latest update, which includes two new software features. DecoNetwork Version 8.502 is a free, automatic update for current users. The new Calendar View will feature full integration with DecoNetwork’s current production workflow, and will allow users to move between two types of production views: weekly and monthly. The Quote Mode feature removes all prices from the front end website to only allow for quote request submissions from customers through the checkout process. It also enables customers to choose and launch a product onto the Online Designer, where they can customise the product with their artwork and proceed to request a quote without the need for upfront payments. “You no longer need to swap emails, make phone calls or set appointments to meet with customers just to provide a quote,” explained DecoNetwork. www.deconetwork.com Denny’s launches embroidered Christmas aprons Dennys has announced the launch of its embroidered Christmas aprons. Available in four festive- themed designs – Let It Snow, Merry Chrimbo, Elfie and Christmas Tree – the aprons were created by the company’s in-house embroidery team and are made using the Denny’s Bib Apron (DP200). They come in a range of colours and feature an adjustable halter neck. Thread colours can be changed upon request. The aprons are made from 100% recycled polyester, which means that you can “do your bit to save the environment while you’re getting into the Christmas spirit,” said Dennys. www.dennys.co.uk Read our monthly digital editions: www.images-magazine.com The recycled polyester aprons are available in four festive designs Hybrid unveils new Mimaki technology at The Print Show Hybrid Services unveiled a series of new products at The Print Show in September, including the Mimaki CJV300Plus integrated printer/cutter, featuring a new ID Cut function to make printing and cutting easier and faster. The barcode, read by the registration mark sensor, contains cutting and rotation information, allowing the machine to automate the cutting process. This is particularly useful when running nested print-cut jobs, as the cutter continuously reads the data for both single and combined jobs, says Hybrid. Other enhancements include a production mode for high-speed print runs; the Mimaki Advanced Pass System (MAPS4), to ensure seamless functionality and consistently high-quality prints; increased weight capacity on the take-up unit; and improved media feeding accuracy and correction, opening up a variety of heavier-weight and thicker media. www.hybridservices.co.uk Mimaki has launched a series of new products
