Part of its Bioglitter Pure product family, the new Bioglitter Pure Opal glitter has a reflective and shimmer quality that up until this point has been impossible to achieve in a microplastic-free glitter, says the company. Stephen Cotton, director at Ronald Britton, said: “This is another first from Ronald Britton. The new product is the only iridescent effect glitter available on the market which is microplastic-free.” Bioglitter Pure Opal is a TÜV-certified fresh water biodegradable glitter that can be added to screen printing inks. It is available in five different sizes and a choice of three colours: rose, mint and aqua. Ronald Britton has also launched the new Bioglitter Pure Vivid colour range, which is currently available in vivid fuchsia in five sizes. www.discoverbioglitter.com Stanley/Stella ranked as a leader in sustainable materials sourcing Garment brand Stanley/Stella has been placed in the top 16 leading brands in the world for sustainable material sourcing in Textile Exchange’s Material Change Index. “We are very proud to be ranked in the leader category alongside some major fashion and textile industry leaders. This ranking underlines how committed we are to driving positive change in the textile industry,” said Stanley/Stella. “From the beginning, our mission has been to produce premium contemporary garments in a more responsible and ethical way, with respect for the planet and its people. From day one, we chose not to use conventional cotton, but only to work with 100% organic cotton in our range of T-shirts and sweatshirts.” The company explains that 95% of its production is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), with the remaining 5% made from natural materials, such as Tencel, Modal and linen, and recycled polyester. www.stanleystella.com The Stella Expresser T-Shirt from Stanley/Stella’s Iconic collection is made from 100% organic cotton The Cotton Textile Company to continue its support of Snap charity The Cotton Textile Company (TCTC) has announced its continued support of the charity Snap in 2020. This is the second consecutive year that TCTC has supported Snap, which provides a tailored support service to the families and carers of children with mental and physical challenges. As part of the company’s fundraising for the charity, director Richard King will take part in the Brighton Marathon in April, and will then climb Mount Kilimanjaro in October. Richard said: “Having seen the help Snap can offer to families through their counselling services, we decided this was an area we would like to support. There is a cost, which is borne by the charity of £65 per session, and we would like to fund as many as possible. It also makes it simple for sponsorship as you know that your £65 directly helps a family.” To donate, please visit: www. justgiving.com/fundraising/ thecottontextileco, or if you are interested in sponsoring Richard’s shirt, please contact him at richard@ thecottontextilecompany.co.uk. www.thecotton textilecompany.co.uk www.snapcharity.org Richard King, director of TCTC, will run the Brighton Marathon for Snap in April
