PF DTG PRINTING www.images-magazine.com 66 images SEPTEMBER 2021 I-Sub: Roq Now Roq has introduced a third generation model of the Roq Now to its line of direct-to-garment printers. “The Roq Now is a solution that promises to boost your ability to respond to the demands of this new web-to- print era, and become a game-changing addition to your print shop,” says UK distributor I-Sub. “By applying Roq’s know-how when dealing with digital printing and oval format machines, we were able to create an industrial DTG printer that combines this new digital technology with high production and quality.” The Roq Now produces around 200 pieces per hour, either in variable data or copies of the same artwork for small-run jobs. It’s offered with two inline pretreaters, four flash-cures and four heat presses, which are all “perfectly configured” for a completely automated workflow, adds I-Sub. “As it was made from the ground up, to work with the web-to-print market, our proprietary software will allow you to interface with your own enterprise resource planning (ERP) production software, helping you be even more efficient during job management.” The Roq Now produces around 200 pieces per hour, reports I-Sub Adelco: OvalJet The OvalJet offers the latest technology in high-production direct-to-garment printing, says UK distributor Adelco. “OvalJet is a fully automated, high-speed system that presses garments, digitally prints foundation (pretreatment), and dries ink between white and colour layers. “It competes with conventional screen print, even on multi-colour print runs over 500 pieces, and is equally efficient on individual print SKUs.” The OvalJet is designed to print around 180-220 pieces per hour (dark or light shirts), and also enables neck label printing in the same pass. Geared towards ecommerce and API handling, the OvalJet is available with full automated software to handle automated file loading, back- end stock control and production analysis.
