A great option for the production of labels, stickers and vehicle wraps, the Mimaki CJV150-75 printer/cutter is compatible with genuine bulk ink systems, which are available separately. Val: DuoViz reflective transfers The new DuoViz range from transfer specialist Val offers decorators a selection of coloured, reflective heat transfers that are ready for application. Designed to enable bold colour prints in the daytime with reflective properties and enhanced visibility at night, the transfers are ideal for schoolwear, workwear and casualwear, says Val. DuoViz transfers are available in a variety of colours, including fluorescents, and are suitable for application on both light and dark- coloured garments. “They’re a great option for fine, detailed designs,” adds the company, “and can be custom printed from your artwork.” Graphtec GB: Silhouette Cameo 4 Pro The latest Silhouette Cameo 4 Pro small-format and larger-format CE7000 digital cutters provide ideal solutions to the finishing of digitally printed heat transfer vinyl images, says Graphtec GB. “Both cutters include new performance-enhancing design features, and are supplied with dedicated own-brand design and production software.” The Silhouette Cameo 4 Pro has a 610mm cutting width, plus a cutting speed “three times faster than the Cameo 3 machine”. “It will handle materials that similarly positioned cutters might find too challenging, and includes three new auto-detect blades (including a deep- cut option) for optimum cutting accuracy,” adds Graphtec. Other features include an adjustable clip-on roll feeder and vinyl cross- cutter, as well as an upgraded LED backlit, multi-functional control panel to replace the traditional LCD touchscreen panel on the Cameo 3 machine. Available in a choice of four larger- format models, the CE7000 digital cutters have a cutting force of 450g, with a maximum cutting speed of 1,000mm/second. The machines also include the latest Version 8 of Graphtec’s proprietary Advanced Registration Mark Sensing (ARMS) system for “enhanced media tracking and cutting accuracy”.
