The half-million landmark figure equates to sales of around 30,000 T-shirts, which now retail for £25, with £17 going to Terrence Higgins Trust. imagesmag.uk/la-tshirt ‘Comfort’ wear trend continues The trend for comfortable leisurewear has continued through the summer, says fashion retailer Primark. In its latest trading update, owner Associated British Foods said demand for “comfort living” had led to strong sales of leisurewear such as leggings and cycle shorts from June to September this year. This continues the trend of people buying more loungewear due to spending more time at home because of Covid-19 lockdowns and self-isolation – a trend reflected in some sectors of the imprint industry. imagesmag.uk/primark- comfort Snickers adds new work trousers Snickers Workwear has introduced new work trousers for men and women in its AllroundWork and FlexiWork ranges. The company is on the shortlist for Business of the Year in the category for 51 or more employees in the South West Business Leader Awards, alongside three nominations in the South West Contact Centre Awards. In the contact centre awards, Alexandra employee Rebecca Talbot has been shortlisted for the title of Customer Services Representative of the Year while Gemma Walker is a finalist for the Hero of the Year award. Alexandra has also been nominated in the “Covid – Supporting Customers” category.
