Elliot Denton and Ciara Cullen have both joined as sales and administration assistant to provide support for the business, which is based in Otley in West Yorkshire. With strengths in finance, marketing and international relations, Elliot is a graduate of Newcastle University where he studied international business management and German. Ciara joins Parkers after a variety of different jobs including working as an English language teacher. Founded in 1985, Parkers Branded is a family-run business headed by managing director Charlie Parker and finance director Janie Parker. imagesmag.uk/parkers-elliot The team at Screen Print World have been joined by Jordan Cox , who has taken over the running of the parts and service department. With “big things in mind” to expand the department, he will be the company’s point of contact for any service and parts requirements. He brings nine years of experience in the screen printing industry to the business, which is based in Kidderminster in Worcestershire and specialises in screen printing supplies and equipment. He said: “I am excited to join the team and continue serving an industry I am passionate about.” Jordan is taking over running the department from former parts and service co-ordinator, Millie Russello, who has recently moved into the marketing department. imagesmag.uk/screenprintworld- cox The National Childrenswear Association (NCWA) has named Sharon Beardsworth as its new chairman to support the sector through “a challenging time”. Replacing immediate past chairman Mark Barnett, she was appointed to the role at the NCWA’s council meeting and AGM alongside vice chairman Imran Hassan, treasurer David Burgess and president Ken Scates. Sharon, who has a wealth of industry knowledge, previously served as the association’s chairman for three years from 2012 to 2015. She said: “I am delighted to have been voted back as chairman of the NCWA. This is a challenging time for all of us and the role of the NCWA is more important now than ever. “We have a very strong team on the council and look forward to facing the challenges ahead as we help to put together the new normal for our members.” imagesmag.uk/ncwa-sharon Printer supplier CMYUK has appointed Neil Roberts , formerly general manager at Graphtec, as manager of its growing demonstration and training centre. During his 22 years at Graphtec, he handled the CMYUK account so already has a long-established professional working relationship with Scott Clutton, CMYUK service manager, and Sue Hayward, who is sales director for equipment and to whom he now reports. In his new role, he will have overall responsibility for the demonstration and training centre, working to further improve the customer experience. Sue Hayward commented: “Neil is a great asset for the CMYUK demonstration and training centre. The Derbyshire-based business achieved record sales of Brother GT, GTXpro and GTXpro Bulk machines in the year to April 2021, selling “well over” 100 units.
