The Texart XT-640S-F is a digital printer, requiring “virtually no set up”, which can decorate different sizes, colours and types of garment within the same print run, seamlessly switching from DTG to direct-to-textile. It is designed for decorators and manufacturers of apparel such as fashion, sportswear, leisurewear and street attire. It is also suitable for fashion houses looking to build prototype versions of a clothing item or create a one-off piece for a show. Roland’s development of the Texart XT-640S-F was inspired by the rise of limited-edition collections and ‘fashion drops’ – clothing items that are sold in small batches, heavily promoted via social media. Described as a “flexible, durable and eco-friendly solution”, the Texart XT-640S-F can print onto a broad spectrum of fabrics including cotton, cotton-rich blends, white polyester, denim and leather. The product is available in three bed sizes, with a vacuum table included, and has an optional jig system that enables up to six garments to be printed in a single workflow. imagesmag.uk/roland-texart View our latest videos: vimeo.com/imagesmaguk Tuff Shop’s new premises in a former cinema in Woodlesford Tuff Shop grows with new showroom Tuff Shop, a specialist in printed and embroidered workwear, has marked its 10th anniversary with the opening of a new retail site. Originally founded by managing director Tim Banks in Wakefield in 2011, the business has expanded into a former cinema in Woodlesford, south-east of Leeds, creating a new showroom covering 700sqm in which it can display its ranges. With 20 employees, the business supplies workwear, personal protective equipment and safetywear, and offers clients customisation through embroidery and print. The new shop opened in September, with a grand opening event featuring special guest Jamie Peacock, the Leeds- born rugby league star who played for the Leeds Rhinos and Bradford Bulls and captained Great Britain and England at international level. The event also featured special offers, giveaways and the ‘hang tuff’ challenge, offering customers the chance to win a Blåkläder head-to-toe workwear bundle worth £300. imagesmag.uk/tuffshop-opens The new Roland DG Texart XT-640S-F digital printer Print Em These brilliant hoodies and polo shirts were printed by Print Em in Northamptonshire for Little Lion Soft Play. imagesmag.uk/PrintEm-Little-Lion
