The combination of the Exile Spyder computer-to-screen (CTS) system with the V-Lux inline exposure system and the Inpro TigerClean Combi-Eco Developer provides an opportunity for textile screen printers to completely automate the screen-making process, says the company. “With the Spyder CTS delivering typical imaging times of 60 seconds or less, the imaged screen is then inserted into the V-Lux inline exposure system, which has 15 memory presets allowing exposure times to be quickly selected via a touchscreen LCD control panel,” explains Exile. “Exposure times will then be 10- 60 seconds, depending on the emulsion and mesh count. “While the first screen is being exposed, the operator can image another screen on the Spyder CTS. The second imaged screen is then inserted into the V-Lux, automatically pushing the first screen onto the moving belt that transports it into the Inpro Combi-Eco Developer.” The Inpro Combi-Eco Developer offers a fully automatic screen washout developing solution, with developing times of 70- 80 seconds per screen. “With the addition of a screen auto-coater, the automation of a modern screen room is complete.
