Both systems from the laser technology company now include the newly developed Ceramicore laser source with a small beam diameter, which is designed to enable laser engraving of fine structures, lines and characters. The resonator body where the laser radiation is generated is 100% ceramic. OptiMotion, which automatically searches for optimal speed parameters, is also now available for the Speedy 100 and Speedy 300, explained Trotec. Faye Marques, who owns the Manchester-based label and designed and printed the Valentine’s sweater, explains why she created this design. “With everything that is going on in the world at the moment, I wanted to spread a whole lot of love around!” she says. “I was inspired to create a ‘Just… love’ design with a bunch of happy hearts. There are little hand-printed hearts on the sleeve and the back of the neckline too.” While she admits the red and white design is “particularly Valentines-y”, the sweater comes in various colourways and is suitable for wearing all year round. “Love isn’t just a seasonal thing after all!” she points out. “The new design has been really well received on my social media channels and the orders are coming in nicely.
