It also has the facility to set up customer and school shops, which we felt was extremely important as it means we’re still able to offer our personal service, albeit remotely. And we believed our business would be more important to a smaller company based in the UK. We were correct, emails and phone calls are responded to very quickly, with lots of help and advice all the way. What’s it like to use? The system is very straightforward, and with anything that we have not been sure of, Andrew [Langridge] has been at the end of the phone to talk me through it. What would be your advice to others thinking of setting up an ecommerce website? We put off incorporating an ecommerce system for some time, thinking it would be too expensive and time-consuming to set up. However, ETrader has taken most of the set-up pain away. The support from them has been excellent – we often receive a response in less than an hour! They have been so helpful. I wish we had done this a couple of years ago. www.castleprintwear.co.uk The support from ETrader has been excellent, says Jenny Vaughan of Castle Printwear Neill Boatman, partner Tell us a bit about your business Image On Workwear is a branded workwear supplier, offering embroidered and printed clothing, PPE and accessories to businesses, teams and corporates. When did you start using Hoops? We’ve been trialling it for the past three months. We are looking at it working in conjunction with our accounts software and CRM system. I understand when we start subscribing to the product it will be approximately AUS$128 per month. What other systems did you look at before trialling Hoops? We have been using HubSpot on and off for some time and we understand that there will be an integration with it from Hoops, which is very important for us in terms of logging and tracking activity. Why did you want to try Hoops? It seemed that Hoops would be very useful from a production perspective, allowing us to track jobs from quote through to delivery, with the ability to send proofs direct to the customer, which we have been using and found very useful. What do you particularly like about it? The strengths of Hoops are very much with the production element of what we do. The team is able to see where a job is at any stage and see any special instructions or actions that are required. Is there anything you’d like to see in an upgrade? It is important for us that all the integrations with our other systems (accounting and CRM) are seamless and do not generate additional work for us. The ability to add and edit drop- downs to make the software more applicable to our own systems is also very important. What’s it like to use? Very easy to use, very intuitive. What would be your advice to others thinking of investing in a new software system? Be sure what you need the software to do, and be prepared that in some cases workarounds or small changes in the way you work will be required purely due to the diversity of our market and individual working practices. Communicate with the provider; we have found Brad and the team very open, helpful, and on hand whenever we need to speak with them. www.image-on.co.uk Neill Boatman is trialling Hoops at Image on Workwear
