Kathryn, who orders everything from Prestige Leisure and PenCarrie, adds: “I suggested Pro RTX for him as he was looking for something that was reasonable but durable as he is a mechanic and goes through a lot of workwear. He has RX101 polos and RX350 hoodies. He also has Papini Elite polos for his smart visits and the contrast Papini hoodie.” Matthew used to buy overalls, but now opts for work M atthew Reveley, the owner of Fast Fix Mobile Mechanics in Hull, decided earlier this year to move to a new branded clothing supplier. His then supplier was a “very large” company who he felt didn’t value him as a customer and would try to pressure him into placing large orders. The sole trader switched to Nazar Design, also based in the East Yorkshire city of Hull, and owned by husband and wife team Kenan and Kathryn Mator. “I chose Nazar as it is a local, family business and they were very helpful when I first went on to order, and have looked after me ever since,” explains Matthew. “At Nazar they take the time to go through all the best options for Earlier this year, Matthew Reveley of Fast Fix Mobile Mechanics changed his workwear supplier to one he felt truly valued him trousers and T-shirts instead as he says they are a lot cheaper. Brand recognition All the garments and hats are embroidered as Matthew believes embroidery lasts longer than print. He did initially want badges made that were then sewn onto the clothing, but Kathryn suggested making his logo into a badge-style instead and then embroidering it directly onto the polos “as there is a high risk that as he is under cars and moving around a lot it would come loose or come off. He was very happy that we went the way I suggested,” she notes. Matthew places a lot of importance on wearing branded clothing even when he’s not at work “because it gets recognition for my business wherever I am”. And not only does the decorated workwear help him market his mobile vehicle mechanic business, he’s also started selling the Beechfield caps and beanies to customers because so many have asked him for them. Changing supplier has been a positive move for Matthew, and one that highlights the importance of listening to customers whatever the size of their order. “My advice is to simply keep doing what they are doing,” he says. “I can’t fault their work.” www.facebook.com/ fastfixmobilemechanics www.nazardesign.org Driving change Matthew’s customers are fans of his branded Beechfield caps and beanies Branded clothing is important for promoting Fast Fix Mobile Mechanics, says Matthew
