After GS UK, take a wander down the outer edge of the hall and pop on to the Dae Ha UK stand (P10). As the UK distributor of the Dae Ha premium heat-transfer vinyl (HTV) range, Dae Ha UK’s stand is always notable for its rainbow of colours. There are more than 300 HTV/colour variations on offer, along with a selection of sublimation film and paper. The products are all ethically produced, says the distributor, with Dae Ha having a strong focus on reducing its carbon footprint. It already uses recycled blended polyester in all of its HTV products, uses 100% recyclable and biodegradable packaging, and is starting an ‘energy from waste’ scheme for customers. Alongside the HTV, the company will also have a range of Lotus heat presses on display. Dominating the back row of the hall is the Xpres stand (C70), where the next generation Epson DTG printer, the SureColor SC-F3000, will be showcased. "This production-level machine speedily delivers up to 60 full platen dark T-shirt prints per hour, alongside top-of-therange quality with industry low ink costs, partly due to a nine-litre capacity bulk ink system alongside one-and-ahalf-litre ink pouches," notes Xpres. "With ink costs as low as 9p per ml on both colour and white inks, the SCF3000 is positioned above the Epson SC-F2100 in the Xpres DTG product range, which includes a variety of DTGspecific heat presses and pretreatment machines, as well as printable clothing, such as organic cotton tees," says Xpres. "Visit our stand for a demonstration of this fantastic machine and to discuss your printing requirements." Head next to the MHM Direct GB stand (G60) to experience the new GTX600 printer live. This new GTX series member is specially designed for mass production on an industrial level; it’s equipped with a built-in humidifier that helps control the environment in the machine, four industrial print heads with internal cooling fans for longer continuous print operation, and a print size up to 61 x 61cm. "These are just a few of many advantages of the GTX600 that support your mass production business," says Brother. "With this new model, we have expanded our GTX series with a third model to meet all the different production requirements – from unique, individual, personalised pieces made with the GTXpro via high volume output with the GTXpro Bulk to mass production.” Nearby is TheMagicTouch (J60), which will be demonstrating the ever increasing number of new and unique applications possible using its various image transfer solutions. "This year heralds the introduction of the innovative direct-to-film (DTF) digital transfer process, which is set to have a major impact on the decoration industry both in the short and longterm," says TMT. "This new technology is available with different printer models all offering unique production capabilities of up to 15sqm/hr. The transfers can be applied to almost any garment, of any colour, and with almost any material or fabric composition. The DTF transfers are durable, stretchable and very cost effective. Plus there is no pretreatment or weeding required!" The company will also showcase a “unique method” for footwear decoration. In addition, TMT will be showing its new CMYK and CMYK+ white tonerbased printers and traditional full-colour print-and-cut technology, alongside the new colours that have been added to the MagiCut 123Flex, HTV Flex, Flock, Glitter, Metallic and Reflective ranges. Right next to the TMT stand is Wilcom (J52), which reports that for more than 40 years it "has developed the world’s best embroidery and multi-decoration design software. The majority of embroidery designers use it all around the globe to create the most incredible and intricate designs." Products offered by the company include WilcomWorkspace, a suite of online applications that offers convenient and affordable on-demand embroidery web applications for sales, customer service or production team members. WilcomWorkspace Studio and Estimator offer the flexibility to view, resize, recolour, print worksheets, convert files to machine format and estimate stitch counts. Estimator’s latest addition is pricing tables. Subscribers can upload their own pricing table and generate a real-time quote for digitising and production for the first time. Wilcom’s Embroidery Web API is for anyone that would like to offer custom or personalised embroidery. Wilcom’s automation software tool kit allows them to add embroidery capabilities to their websites, or internal applications. "Our Wilcom Europe team is eager to see you again and discuss all your embroidery needs in person. Visit us to get exclusive bonuses and show specials."
