Each issue, one reader tells us why they rate a particular garment The High Collar Hooded Sweat (209M) from Russell’s new Pure Organic range has been chosen as this month’s Readers’ Choice by Alison Hylton, owner of Uniform Supplies UK in Durham. “We love the brand new hooded sweat by Russell, this 209M is our favourite,” she says. “It comes in eight colours, some of which are a little different from the normal range in hooded tops – we love the stone and dark olive. “It has a contemporary fit, whilst being a modern design. It’s a little different to the box standard hoodie, with its high collar hood construction with two-piece workmanship, which enables a better printing position.” The contrast detail to the drawstring along with the fashionable detail just above the hem help the garment to stand out from the other hoodies on offer, Alison explains. She continues: “It has a super-soft feel with its 100% combed, ringspun, organic cotton fabric and is so cosy to wear.” The garment is ideal for printing and embroidery, Alison notes, adding: “A little tip when printing: give the item a three to four second heat press to rake out any moisture in the fabric before pressing with vinyl or heat transfer. This will give the transfer a longer life. We have done these tops for various walking groups, gyms, health and beauty salons, and clubs and societies.” www.facebook.com/ Uniformsuppliesuk Tracey Hutchinson from Sakura Fitness wearing the Russell Pure Organic High Collar Hooded Sweat Starlight Embroidery Starlight Embroidery in Doncaster has made ‘I Support The NHS’ T-shirts to help raise money for NHS Charities Together. imagesmag.uk/Starlight Wilcom’s Virtual Masterclasses are available now online
