PF DIGITAL PRINTING www.images-magazine.com 96 images APRIL 2019 Kornit has recently released the new Atlas high production, industrial, direct-to-garment printer. “The Atlas will have a direct impact on screen printing as it competes on cost and production times,“ notes Adelco. “Kornit has done its homework – this new creation is the result of thousands of experienced operators and millions of printed garments.“ The features of the Atlas are, says Adelco, testament to this research. The Atlas promises a 30% throughput improvement over the Kornit Avalanche HD6, and is said to be capable of thousands of prints a day with a single operator. The company reports that it has been designed “with the future in mind, and is easily adaptable to future new features and product developments“. Adelco continues: “It has a host of new, innovative features not seen on the market before, including wrinkle detection that reduces wasted garments and damaged print heads.“ A management quick-view system Adelco: Kornit Atlas The new Kor n it Atlas is available fro m Adelco allows users to easily check where any faults or low efficiencies are occurring, making maintenance more efficient and reducing downtime. It also promises “faster, easier and safer pallet replacement“. The Atlas comes with the new NeoPigment Eco-Rapid ink, which has been created specifically for industrial printing and demanding production environments. “This ink has improved solid colour coverage and 10% larger colour gamut,“ explains Adelco. “It is stored in large four-litre containers and is incredibly cost efficient. The enhanced white ink has increased stability and consistency over time and prints.“ www.adelco.co.uk The Mimaki TX300P is a 1.8m wide textile printer capable of printing using either reactive, acid, pigment or disperse dyes.
