It is capable of printing substrates 1.8m wide at high-productivity speeds of up to 140sqm/h, with sustained productivity speeds of up to 120sqm/h. The system supports printing on a wide range of heavy and thin papers, allowing flexibility on a variety of applications. The Textura 1800 also includes an integrated unwind/ rewind mechanism designed to hold jumbo-size paper rolls up to 200kg, and its industrial media-handling system allows long-print runs to take place unattended. “Dye sublimation transfer is the optimal choice for customising polyester apparel, sportswear fabrics, cut- and-sew yardage fabrics, bags and T-shirts, and M&R’s Novus Textura 1800 sets a new standard for price, performance and low ink costs,” says Screen Print World. Included in the line-up is the Epson SureColor F6200, a professional, digital, dye sublimation printer that Xpres says was developed specifically for the production of high- quality printed textiles and promotional goods. “Part of a complete Epson package, everything is made and supported by one manufacturer to ensure it all works seamlessly together,” explains Xpres. “Create sublimation-printed fabrics, POS displays, interior décor, ChromaLuxe, sportswear, flags, banners, fashion accessories, apparel and more!” Also available is the Mimaki CJV150-75, a print-and-cut machine that Xpres says delivers “high- quality printing and sharp, accurate cutting for fresh, brilliant ideas and hundreds of different applications”. The multiple functions of the CJV150 series promise “high-accuracy cutting, enabling the production of labels, stickers and vehicle wraps with ease”. Another option is the Sawgrass VJ-628 sublimation printer, which at 24.8” wide is wider than conventional A4 and A3 units but is still compact enough to sit on a desktop.
